The Premiers Reading Challenge This year I am in the premiers reading challenge which is where we read 15 books 5 of our own choice and 10 that are off the list for grade 6 or higher so far I have read 9 books altogether I a have read 3 of my own choice and 6 off the list. What I Do Well And What I Need To Improve On I think that next term I need to improve on speaking allowed when we are on our groups and what i think I am already doing quite well is reading not to fast but not to slow.
My Favourite Authors and My Favourite Books I have 2 main favourite Authors they are called Roald Dahl and Justin D’Ath because I like to read extreme books with big adventures. Some of my favourite books are Shark bait and Crocodile attack from Justin D’Ath and I like Danny the champion of the world as well as Charlie and the chocolate factory from Roald Dahl. Guided Reading and sheared reading In guided Reading we go with our teacher up into room 10 just you your teach and the group that you are in we do like a sheared read. We read articles and stories my favourite book so far has been where we read food from different countries all over the world. Sheared reading is where we sit on the floor and read something off the interactive white board as a group altogether then do so questions.
